Drop by and come see our High and Dry Research Garden which was planted in 2006. Twenty species of native shrubs and perennials are being tested in the Norwood garden for their ability to survive on natural rainfall alone. The garden is located at the CSU Extension Office, 1120 Summit Street in Norwood. This is the first replication of the study on the western slope.

We have Xeriscaping Fact sheets in our office and Yvette Henson, Office Agent/Director can give you some tips on planting if you want to learn more about planning "xeric" which means "adapted to an extremely dry habitat". Stop by our office in the Lone Cone Building in Norwood at the above address.
