10:30 am Ute Ethonobotany in the Great Basin States - Kessley LaRose, Sr.  “Listen to the voice of Nature, for it holds treasures for you.” Kessley shares his experience of leading Youth Camps to educate and inspire an enduring  appreciation of the sacred ancestral Ute lands
11:00am Ute History in Colorado - Dr. David Steinman Meeker, Co., will introduce a range of Colorado Ute projects, both historical and current. These include the White River and Yampa River Projects; the Upper Colorado Environmental Plant Center Project (indigenous plants), the Steamboat Springs Ute Project, the Milk Creek Battlefield Park and the Smoking River Pow Wow and related art projects.
