Installing the Drain System
A drain system to move water sheeting from the parking lot to the drain ditch consists of 650 feet of 4 inch ABS perforated sleeved corrugated perforated drain placed in the bottom of a trench filled with gravel. This system will help keep the edge of The Arboretum from turning into a swarm.This system was made possible courtesy of Grand Junction Pipe and Supply, Bob Cat of the Rockies, and Wayne Hopper, Landscape Design and Construction.

900 yards (120 tons) of gravel was delivered.
