A new shade structure has been installed on the north side of the Mesa County CSU Extension/Motor Vehicle Department complex at the Mesa County Fairgrounds. Now that the structure is in place, vines will be trained up the legs to create even more shade.

The shade structure, designed by Mark Gibbons, Landscapes Specialties, was constructed by Jeff Bates, Sky River Ranch.
Grants received from the Bacon Family Foundation and the Colorado Garden Show, Inc. are due to the efforts of the Western Colorado Gardening Foundation.
