"This site is an easy to use compilation of over-the-counter pesticides with links to labels or information sites. A user can sort by pesticide type (insecticide, herbicide, vertibrate control ...), and uses within the type (fly, vegetable, fruit, houseplant, etc. insecticides). Organic gardeners can limit their search to organic materials only if they so desire. There are approximately 1000 products in the database. I intend to update the site annually, and expand it significantly this winter to include lots more information on over-the-counter pesticides and their use". Bob Hammon, Agronomy/Entomology Agent, Tri River Area Extension.
The Preparation of Small Spray Quantities of Pesticides
Labels on pesticides packaged for commercial application typically give the application rates in terms of either quantity per acre (most common) or quantity per 100 gallons of spray. This fact sheet provides the information necessary to permit you to mix small quantities of pesticides even when the label does not explain how to accomplish this task.
