We're an off-campus information-education arm of Colorado State University.  Colorado State University and other land-grant universities around the nation are centers of research in youth and family development, agriculture, consumer information, nutrition, food safety, the environment, engineering, forestry, veterinary medicine and many other subjects. Our operating funds come from three major sources: federal, state, and county governments. That's why we call ourselves "Cooperative Extension".
