4-H Volunteer Program

In order for the 4-H Program to strive, we have volunteers who help with the program.  Volunteers of either parents of the 4-H members, or just people who are interested in helping youth succeed.  There are many different types of volunteer leaders, from Organizational Leader, Project Leader, Resource Leader, or Activity Leader.

The Volunteers have to go through the volunteer process in order to be a "true" 4-H Volunteer Leader.

The process includes:

Complete and return volunteer application with completed references.

  • Pay the $15.00.

  • Fill out enrollment forms (each year).

  • Background checks.

  • Interview.

  • New Leader Training (2-hour training)
