Join 4-H
Thank you for your interest in joining Arapahoe County 4-H!
Youth who participate in 4-H get what all young people need to succeed in life: the confidence, compassion and connections with caring adults to make contributions to their communities.
Who Can Join
We welcome youth from any county ages 5-18 as of December 31 of the current
4-H year, regardless of race, color, creed, sex, national origin or disability. 4-H'ers may enroll in one county only.
When to Enroll
New 4-H members may enroll in existing 4-H clubs between October 1 and April 15. Returning 4-H members and leaders are encouraged to enroll in 4-H between October 1 - November 30.
How to Enroll
1. Find one or more 4-H projects that interest you.
2. Find a club near you that offers the project, or start a new club with a group of friends and a volunteer leader.
3. Request more information or call our 4-H team (Shaylen, Larry or Jean) at 303-730-1920 to request an enrollment form.
4. Submit your completed enrollment form and a check payable to "Arapahoe County Extension" for your enrollment fee.
5. Attend club meetings, receive your project manuals and start learning and having fun!
What Does it Cost
The member fee is $35, which covers project literature for three projects, accident insurance (covers State/County/Club 4-H functions with an adult 4-H leader supervising) and State Enrollment Fee. Each additional project is $5 per project.
