Food Safety

It is estimated that there are 76 million cases of food borne illness each year in the United States.  Most of these illnesses could have been prevented if person’s preparing the food followed some basic food safety procedures.   This site has links to resources that explain these food safety procedures for individuals who prepare food for a living, as a hobby, or just for themselves.

If your freezer door is left open, becomes unplugged or you experience a power outage what food in your freezer is still safe to eat?  These situations happen to people in Colorado more often than you might think, If this happens to you, give us a call or download a copy of our fact sheet “If Your Freezer Stops.”
