The
Family and Consumer Science Extension Staff in Arapahoe County are
committed to helping individuals and families succeed by offering a
variety of educational programs and resources on important topics
that affect families throughout the life cycle.
We
offer information to the public through newsletters, news columns,
web site links, programs, meetings, individual appointments and
telephone consultations.
In the near future we will also be able to use technology to
deliver desktop trainings on vital topics to individuals and
businesses with Internet access.
Colorado
families make choices and decisions everyday…about time, money,
child rearing, health, aging parents and public issues.
They make these choices and decisions in the context of a
complex and rapidly changing society and hard economic realities.
To make the best decisions they need practical, accurate and
unbiased information.
Colorado State University Extension Family and
Consumer Science Agents integrate research-based information from
the University and local community agencies and organizations to
provide a variety of educational resources that help families and
individuals succeed. |
