Mission Statement

The mission of CSU Extension in Arapahoe County is “to provide information and education, and encourage the application of research-based knowledge in response to local, state and national issues affecting individuals, youth, families, agricultural enterprises, and communities of Colorado”.

Information

  • Primary Care of Youth Livestock/Horse Projects form.
All livestock (beef, sheep, swine, goat, and poultry) and horse projects must be complete and turn in this form to the Extension Office prior to the entry into the Arapahoe County Fair.

  • Colorado Premises Identification registration
Beginning on October 1, 2008, each 4-H Livestock (beef, sheep, swine, goat, poultry) and horse project will be required to have a Premises Identification number before you can show at Arapahoe County Fair.  There will be a place on the entry form for this number.  If it is not on your form, it will not be entered in the fair.  If you have any questions about the program, please refer to their Website (www.COanimalid.org).

There are two ways to register, by phone (877-842-0102) or online (www.COanimalid.org).  It is a very simple process, only takes a few minutes.  This is a series of numbers and letters assigned to your premises; it is not a number for your animal (s).  Once you register the first time, you do not have to re-register, unless you move to a new location.  The Colorado State Fair also requires this procedure.
