What's Happening in 4-H?

Horse Levels Field Day

Saturday, April 18 starting at 9 am

The Ranch, Loveland

Struggling to pass that Horse Levels written test? Not sure what to study? Want to learn more about horse care? Looking for ideas for your Horseless Horse Project? Attend Horse Levels Field Day.

Hands on exploration for all levels. Over 20 different topics taught through interactive stations. Members will have the opportunity to take one written level test (I, II, III, or IV) at the end.
No cost. Registration required.

Concessions will be available for lunch.



MQA Training

All animal projects (except dog and horse) must complete a Colorado 4-H MQA training their first year showing livestock and first year showing as a senior.

Boulder County is hosting a training on Monday, April 27 (4 - 6 pm), Exhibit Building, Fairgrounds. This training is self-guided through activities and stations and takes about 1 hr on average.

Weld County Goat Extravaganza

April 24 - 26, 2015

Islang Groove Park, Greeley

The purpose of the WCGE is to provide you with opportunities and knowledge that will help you with your goat enterprise. Features include educational seminars, showmanship contest, market, boer, dairy, pygmy and fiber goats shows.
