Boulder County 4-H Youth Council Applications

The Boulder County 4-H Youth Council is taking applications for the 2012-2013 officer elections.  Applications are due at the upcoming council meeting on Wednesday, May 2.  This is a great opportunity for 4-H members and leaders to get involved in county events and to expand their leadership experience.

The council is comprised of youth members and adult advisors that work together to support the Boulder County 4-H program by raising and distributing funds for scholarships, activity fees and other expenses.  Council also works to plan and implement countywide 4-H events such as our annual Achievement Night, Holiday Party, Operation Easter Bunny, and Military Mail.

If you are interested in participating in 4-H Youth Council but aren't sure you want to run for office, you are always welcome to come to the meetings and participate as a representative for your 4-H club.  Council meetings are open to all Boulder County 4-H members and are held on the first Wednesday of each month.  Meetings begin at 6:00 p.m. and are held in the meeting room at the Extension.
