Boulder County Shooting Sports Council
The Boulder County Shooting Sports Council meets at 7:00 at the Perkins Restaurant, 2051 Main Street, Longmont. Anyone is welcome to attend. Dates of the upcoming meetings are:

Archery Fun Shoot
Hosted by the Boulder County Shooting Sports Council
Boulder County Fairgrounds - Indoor Arena, Longmont, CO
March 30th, 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm
There is no cost for this event.
Anyone who is currently participating in the Archery project or anyone who is interested in learning more about Archery. You do not need to be enrolled in 4-H to attend this event.
Bring your own equipment. No equipment will be available.
We will have prizes for several "Closest to the Pin" contests.

Hunter Safety Class
Interested in getting your Hunter Safety Certificate? Boulder County Shooting Sports Council will be offering an opportunity for members (and families) to participate in a Hunter Safety Class. 4-H members get priority enrollment then parents, siblings and friends.
The class will be held at the Berthoud Gun Club on Saturday March 24 and Sunday March 25. There will NOT be a Friday meeting. Class begins Saturday morning at 9:00 am, check-in at 8:00. Cost is $10.00.

Sharp Shooters 4-H Club Invitational Shoot
All 4-H members enrolled in Shooting Sports events for the project year 2011 are invited to participate. This is a great opportunity to come out and have some fun with your fellow 4-H members.

Orange Practice Card
Just a reminder! In order to shoot at any of the County Shoot-Offs, each member enrolled in Shooting Sports must practice with a certified Shooting Sports project leader a minimum of three (3) times in each discipline the member plans on competing in. After each practice, the leader must initial the appropriate discipline up to three (3) practices. Upon completion of this requirement, please return the orange practice card to the Extension Office.
Orange practice cards are available from your Organizational Leader, your Project Leader or the Extension Office.

Shooting Sports Youth Leader
Youth ages 14 years or older are welcome to take the Shooting Sports Leaders Training. A list of training dates can be found at http://www.colorado4h.org/ss/article12212005.html.
