Food Stamp Nutrition Education (FSNE)
Colorado State Univeristy Cooperative Extension provides nutrition education classes that specifically target those who are eligible for income-based assistance programs such as Food Stamps, WIC, Head Start, and Social Service programs.
Our main program is FSNE: the Food Stamp Nutrition Education It is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), administered by Cooperative Extension, and is know in Colorado as the Extension Nutrition Program

The Extension Nutrition Program (ENP)
provides information on nutrition, healthy cooking, food safety, and food
budgeting. Our objectives are to improve the nutritional well being of low-income
Coloradans and increase their ability to manage food resources. In doing
so, we strive to provide a positive, encouraging, and successful experience
for those with limited resources.When participants complete the free course,
they receive a free cookbook and a certificate from Colorado State University
Cooperative Extension.
