Program Summary
The Community Technical Assistance Program is a partnership between the Colorado Department of Local Affairs and Colorado State University Extension that provides assistance to 34 counties across eastern and southern Colorado. This program has helped communities set goals, make decisions, and create conceptual designs to meet the unique needs of rural Colorado since 1991. Types of projects completed over the years include work in these areas:
- Landscape Architecture
- Architecture and Facility Design
- Historical Preservation
- Research and Planning
- Economic Development
- Community Needs Assessments
- Parks, Trails, and Open Space Planning
- Community Surveys
- Data Collection and/or Analysis
- Trend Analysis
