Session 1: Blogs, Podcasts and RSS Feeds
How to build a blog from scratch using Google's Blogger tool. We add headlines, text, pictures, links, video, labels, archives, and RSS feeds to a blog. We also discuss podcasts, and the free, open source Audacity recording tool. Finally we discuss RSS feeds, how to set up Google's feed reader, and how to subscribe to a feed, as well as provide one on blogs and websites. (1 hour)

Session 2: Collaborative Editing Tools

Session 3: Google Docs and Google Sites
This session explores how to upload,edit and share a document in Google Docs. how to present a PowerPoint presentation online using Google doc, how to publish a document as a webiste, and how to embed a PowerPoint or Excel document inb a website or blog. The Google Sites portion will show how to create a wiki-like collaborative website, with multiple pages, a navigation panel, a recent activity panel, and even as countdown clock. Session 4: Building an On-Line Flash Photo Gallery
This latest addition to the on-line tools series shows how to create an on-line Flash slideshow from digital photographs using free tools from Airtight Interactive and Photoshop. Specifically, we build 43 slideshows (AutoViewer, SimpleViewer, Postcardviewer and Tiltviewer) by downloading a script from the Airtight Interactive website, adding it to the Photoshop program folder, and then using it to automatically build our slideshow. We add a title and captions by manipulating the .xml file, and finish by showing how to publish it to a website. (1 hour)

Session 5 : Google Analytics
A session on Google Analytics, a free Google application that allows you to track the behavior of visitors to your website with a great deal of specificity. You can track how visitors get to your website, on which page they enter your website, on which page they exit your website, which links are clicked while they are there, how long they are there, and much more.

Session 6: On-line Video and Presentation Options
This session starts with Joanne Littlefield discussing how to plan and shoot web video. We then move on to demonstrasting specific tools for capturing, converting, editing and embedding videos and presentations on websites.

Session 7: Using Connect for on-line meetings
We explore using the Connect system to facilitate an on-line meeting. Topics include scheduling a meeting, options for phone conferencing, working with layouts and pods, uploading presentations and documents, promoting other attendees to presenter and host status, and recording and archiving meetings.

Session 8: Using Skype
Thisa session explores using Skype, a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) tool for voice and video phone calls using your computer. Voice and video calls from one Skype user to another are free, and can support up to 24 additional callers for conference calls. The session will show how to download, set up, call, set up conference calls and add contacts with Skype.
