Volunteer as a 4-H leader in Douglas County. New leaders must complete the following requirements by May 1 of the current 4-H year:

1. Complete and return volunteer application with three (3) references.
2. Complete and return 4-H enrollment form.
3. Complete the 4-H leader training.
4. Complete a background check.
