Native plants are nestled into flowerbeds surrounding
the Castlewood Canyon State Park main entrance building.
Douglas County Colorado Master Gardeners have designed
and now care for these gardens. The historic Lucas homestead
located near the northern end of the park has historic
century-old apple trees.
