* We need adequate samples to make a diagnosis:
Woody Plants: shrub or tree stems, 12-18” long, showing damaged areas, healthy areas, and the transition between the two.
Turf: one square foot, 6” deep, take sample at border of healthy-damaged area – some healthy some not. Place sample in box. Broad-view photos can be especially helpful for turf.
Weeds: the entire above-ground portion of the plant (not wilted), including blooms and seeds, and roots if available.
Photos: one or two broad-view photos of the problem. Take enough close-up photos to facilitate understanding of the problem.

Classes are being taught by Colorado Master Gardener Apprentices (volunteers) from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturdays at the Abundant Harvest Community Garden, 9355 Peaceful Valley Road, Fountain, CO 80925. The cost is $15 per class, payable by cash or check.
Preregistration is requested and helps us prepare, but it’s not required. Click here for a registration form. Or, call 520-7690 to register or for more information.
