Organizational 4-H Leader

  • Overall 4-H leader of your club.

  • Overall communicator between the club, parents and the 4-H Office.

  • Manager/organizer of your 4-H club.

  • Act as a positive role model to the members of your 4-H club.

Project 4-H Leader

  • "The Project Leader is a teacher".

  • Organize and conduct specific 4-H projects.

  • Can serve as an organizational leader, while serving as a project leader (generally this occurs in small club situations).

  • Provide guidance & support to 4-H members on their projects.

  • Act as a positive role model to the members of your 4-H club.

Activity or Event 4-H Leader

  • This leader advises and assists 4-H members in planning & working together on the activities and events they choose.

  • Act as a positive role model to the members of your 4-H club

Resource 4-H Leader

  • Work with a 4-H club on a short-term basis or on an as-needed basis (specified time period).

  • Help with an activity, event &/or project.

  • Have expertise in areas that other 4-H leaders in the club may not have.

  • Act as a positive role model to the members of your 4-H club.
