Jeffco 4-H Seedling Tree Program


In Cooperation with Colorado State Forest Service Nursery

 

 

Jeffco 4-H will distribute seedling trees from the Colorado State Forest Service for planting in the spring of 2009.

 

This program enables landowners with at least two acres of land to obtain seedling trees at nominal cost for reforestation, erosion
control, wind barriers, wildlife habitats and other conservation plantings.  Orders for parks, schools, church properties, and public lands are encouraged. 
   

 

 Our Program Offers . . . 

  • Seedling trees and shrubs in lots of 30 potted or 50 bareroot trees
  • Wildlife habitat assortment packets of 30 bareroot seedlings, five each of six different shrubs
  • Planting supplies to aid in establishing the trees in their new growing environment
