Q: Who is eligible for registration discount?

Certified Native Plant Masters in good standing are eligible for registration discount. That means a certified Native Plant Master needs to continually make educational contacts and report at least once a year.

Q: How can I be re-certified?

  1. 1) Teach at least 120 people about Colorado plants during the two-year recertification period
  2. 2) Report at least annually on those educational contacts
  3. 3) Meet the continued education requirement

Q: What counts toward continued education?

You can take a NPM course or any other class on related topic, but it needs to be add up to at least 12 hours.

Q: How do I report my educational contacts?

Please download Educational Contact Report Form (Denver/Gilpin/Jeffco Volunteers) onto your computer.

  • You may print it and fill it out by hand, mail a copy to us,
  • You may fill it out on computer, print a copy and mail to us,
  • Email your report as an attachment to program assistant, or
  • Submit your report online - go to the report page, put in your name and numbers, attach your report, and click "Submit Form".

Q: When do I receive my NPM certificate?

The certification process is normally completed once a year in December. We aim to send out your certificate before Christmas.

Q: Can I use my promo code for a friend?

Discounted fees are for individuals who is certified NPM in good standing only. It is not transferable. Your friend may be eligeble for a reduced fee scholarship. To apply, please print and fill out the application and send it to 15200 W 6th Ave. Unit C, Golden, CO 80401.
