    The Program's Purpose
The Wildlife Master Program, developed in Jefferson County in 1987, was designed to prevent or
mitigate human-wildlife conflicts by sharing research-based information about human-wildlife interaction with residents.

    Become a Wildlife Master
Jefferson County has approximately 30 volunteers who ground squirrelfield hundreds of calls each year.  Volunteers for the program are carefully selected for their willingness to be unbiased and provide all of the research-based options they are trained to offer.  Contact your County office to be put on a waiting list for information regarding this program.  In Jefferson County call (303) 271-6620.
